About the Market

Homegrown. Hand-Harvested. Homemade.

As we begin our 15th year of bringing only locally-grown products to Conover, we think it's especially important to take time to remember where we came from. Our market was started in 2008 from the vision of two local ladies and a berry farmer that wanted a place to buy quality products from growers around the area. Our market has now blossomed into a weekly celebration of the abundance surrounding Conover, and an opportunity to meet your farmer and get involved in the community. We invite you to join us on Saturday mornings and enjoy the people, atmosphere, and most importantly, the food that our town has to offer!

We are a 501(c)3 charity organization

Conover Farmers Market is situated right in the center of downtown Conover which offers visitors many attractions - antique stores, beautiful parks, and a state-of-the-art library.

We encourage market customers to pick up picnic supplies and enjoy an afternoon in one of our many parks, with refreshing orangeades from Bowman Drug, or spend the day uncovering hidden gems in the many unique stores like the Shops on Main. Our beautiful new library is open 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday mornings - pick up a new book each week.  (We recommend the gardening books and cookbooks!)
